Join the HCW and the Harvard Graduate Science Policy Group for a happy hour to celebrate their annual networking trip to DC! Play trivia or just hang out!
Harvard’s Graduate Science Policy Group is a collection of graduate students at Harvard interested in the intersection of science and policy-making. They recognize the impact policy decisions can have on science, and all the disparate manners which scientific understanding can influence public policy. Their goal is to help bridge the gap between scientists and the public policy world, and their annual trip from Cambridge to Washington D.C. is to bring 15 motivated graduate students to the heart of our nation’s decisionmaking and connect them to opportunities in the realm of science policy.
To that end, we invite our members, particularly those connected with ARPA-H, DOEd, NOAA, USAID, CDC, NASA or ARPA-E (but everyone is always welcome!) to come and meet some of Harvard’s future changemakers!
How to get there: 38B Bus, RS-DP & GT-US Circulator. Attached parking garage $12/hr, $22 max.
