Violinist and composer Chad Cannon (AB ’11; Juilliard ’13) presents The Rebel Reef, a short documentary telling a remarkable story of resilience—both human and ecological. Set in Tela Bay on the north coast of Honduras, the film intertwines a story of human healing with a mysteriously thriving coral reef where a dozen species—critically endangered across the Caribbean—continue to flourish against the odds. Cannon, who composed the film’s award-winning score, will also offer an exclusive preview of his new multimedia concert experience, Music for the Ocean—a “nature documentary for the concert hall” exploring the wonder of marine life and the challenges facing our oceans.
