If you’ve been enjoying our virtual tours, or if you joined us for our self-guided tour in May, now is a great time to come see the objects on display in the National Museum of Asian Art with the benefit of a docent’s expertise!
Meet-up location: Please meet at the National Mall entrance to the Freer Gallery wing of the museum at approximately 11:20am. Our tour will start promptly at 11:30am. Please note that this entrance requires the use of a few steps – a step-free entrance is available on Independence Avenue, please email Julia to let her know if you need to meet us there. Check the image below – we’ve marked the entrance we’ll be using with a star!
After exploring the museum: We’ll be heading to Bindaas Bowls & Rolls, the casual outpost from James Beard award-winning Executive Chef, Vikram Sunderam at 415 7th St NW. Peruse the menu and get hungry here. Google Maps claims the walk is about 15 minutes, but you can take a bus or an Uber, if that’s better for you. Check the map here.
