We’re excited to announce that we’ve booked a private tour of Georgetown GLOW for our members! Join us for a two-hour exploration of the art and light, one of DC’s most anticipated holiday traditions.
Our tour will start at the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Historical Park, on the north side of the canal, at Lock 3, between Thomas Jefferson St and 30th St NW, at 5:30pm. A guide will connect the light art experience with the history of this pre-revolutionary town, as you’ll learn about the history, industry, and stories of Georgetown’s most interesting residents as well as the GLOW light installations.
We’ll finish up at 7:30 at The Sovereign restaurant, for an optional group dinner. We have a reservation for a table together, but food and beverage choices will be on your own tab.
