While DC is lucky to be the site of the one and only DaVinci work in North America (Portrait of Ginevra Benci, in the National Gallery), this summer we are especially privileged to be hosting the Codex Atlanticus, featuring twelve of the genius inventor and artist’s drawings! Join the HCW at the Martin Luther King, Jr Memorial Library for a private guided tour of the “Imagining the future – Leonardo da Vinci: In the mind of an Italian genius” exhibit!
How to get there: Blue, Orange, Red, & Silver lines to Metro Center, Yellow & Green lines to Gallery Place/Chinatown. 54, 63, 64, 70, 74, 80, 681, 881, P6, X2 & X9 buses nearby.
